If you saw my post of my recently purchased 2520's three point dropping to the floor in a short time, having trouble idling with the three point up at all due to a continuous "load" on the motor due a piece of metal trapped in a hydraulic valve. well I put it on the dyno a while back and I was only getting 51 H.P. at PTO speed, I checked and adj. timing, carb. settings, made sure the choke was opening all the way, air filter was good, governor settings spot on, anyway I was a little baffled on the lack of power from a low hr. perfect sounding/running machine. After fixing the three point, the motor runs so much free'r I thought I would throw it on the dyno again----low and behold 57-58 H.P at pto speed and will pull a max of 62 at approx. 420 rpm on the pto .....much better and about par for Deere's specs(which are usually quit accurate). I will try and post a video of some dyno runs later in the week....pics and vids are always nice!!
