Gannon Box blade cylinder outlet thread size.

The inner and outer connection to the cylinder appears to be 1/4 NPT but when I thread in a 1/4 fitting it slightly wiggles. I bought this box blade at auction so it did not come with lines, just plastic plugs in the outlet holes. When measuring the inner female threads I get 1/2 or .49 with calipers. I would like to order lines, but I am not sure what size the threads are at the cylinder. Any help would be appreciated.

Not pipe thread........Oring boss, looks like #6 ORB (9/16-18)

The recess or chamfer in the fitting tells me it is an ORB (o-ring boss) fitting. Probably a -6 ORB size. See attached chart. Best approach would be -6 ORB male x -6 JIC male 90* fitting and a 3/8 inch hose with a -6 JIC female fitting.

I did a ORB -6 to a 3/8 male JIC then a JIC female 3/8 90* to 3/8 line to 3/8 NPT for a male quick connect for my kubota. I did not see any options for a JIC quick connect fitting. Thanks again for the tip to detect a ORB fitting.

Yeah, hydraulic couplers are usually 1/2 npt or you can also find -8 ORB. If the hex is big enough and the mating fitting deep enough, you can put an ORB o-ring on a male JIC fitting and screw it into the same size ORB female.
