Hello All,

Does anyone have any information on this Gannon box blade; H-220LR?

I've looked all over the net and can't find anything. My father-in-law used this on his tractor. He passed away a few years back and my mother-in-law wants to give me this box blade. I'm thinking about using it on mine even though it probably won't be wide enough for me. If I don't like it behind my tractor maybe I'll sell it and get a wider one.

It has 8 scarefires, and they are operated hydraulically. I'm wondering what the weight is or who I could call to get more info on it. I think it is 6ft wide just by eyeballing it.

The lines are cracked and need to be replaced. It's been sitting outside with no shelter for a few years. It's got some rust spots, but I'm thinking about refurbishing it.

How much does this box blade weigh?

Any idea on dimensions?

What does the LR stand for?

What's the chances the cylinder is still good?

Thanks,
Rusty

Hi Rusty, just a guess here, but H= hydraulic, 220 might equal 22 cubic feet that it holds and LR might be low rise mold boards, 18"-20"? Have you decided on what type of additional remotes that you are going to get?
How's everything else? Hope all has gone well.

Hey Brian,

That sounds about right on the model number. Thanks.

I haven't bit the bullet on the 3rd Rear Remote Kit yet. I'll probably end up getting it, even though it's $1K, just because it is a kit and I'm not sure on how to build my own or fab up someone elses. Got any 3rd rear remote kits or multiple rear remote kits in mind that would work on our tractors and aren't too complicated to install?

I haven't been able to have any tractor fun in a while. We've had friends come in from out of town and vacations get in the way of that. I'm not sure when I'll have another weekend to myself.

Still gotta list of things to do with the tractor; Widen front tread width, fill tires, install 3rd rear remote, install TnT, and now go pick up this box blade and see if I can get it going.
