Garage sale cultivator

Some friends of ours are having a garage sale this Saturday and asked my wife if she wanted to put some stuff in it. She did, so we loaded up the Dodge and hauled a bunch of junk over there. Well, I walked around to see what they had, and what did my eyes spy ? A Brinley cultivator for a sleeve-hitch. Only 20 bucks! I don't have a garden tractor anymore, sold it when I bought my Mahindra, but I almost bought the cultivator anyway. Then I noticed my wife giving me "the glare", and changed my mind.

So if anybody is in the Camden, NY area tommorrow, and has a use for this thing, I think they could get a deal. I'm pretty sure they go for over a hundred new. A couple of the tines are turned 90 degrees to where they should be, but they just clamp in there. Easy to adjust.

My wife knows that if I get a "glare" like that, I will buy it for sure. Sorry to hear that you are on a tight leash.

Thanks for posting the pic (hope that didn't get you into trouble). I used to have one just like it (seems the rust spots were identical too /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif ), but gave it away when I didn't need it and wanted the space. Getting to be a collectors item.
