I have set up a Charger 12 Wheelhorse tractor with a front end loader. I find that my property has hills, and I have tendency to get stuck. What Garden Tractors have posi rears, I need to transfer my loader attachment to a different tractor. Thank for any suggestions. Joe

I know John Deere and Cub Cadet have garden tractors with differential locks on the rear ends. I'm not sure about Kubota, Areins and Simplicity garden tractors though. Are you shopping for new, or used? Check the websites of the brands mentioned for their garden tractor specs. Like I said, I'm not sure on some of the other brands of garden tractors.

I have weights and cleated tires on my 52" Murray (el cheapo) garden tractor. I have gotten stuck more often than I care to admit. If I just DIP a tire in the edge of muck, it spins. Very, very frustrating. I would look for a posi rear end at an absolute minimum and maybe even MFWD. I am continually and regularly amazed at what my Kubota Grand L3830 can get through without flinching. MFWD with posi is incredible.

JD, Cub, Simplicity and others offer tractors with locking rear differentials and/or MFWD.
At any rate, you'll want to weight down the rear end of whichever tractor you choose when using the FEL. I would try wheel weights, filling the rear tires, and perhaps a ballast box for your charger before looking for a new machine. Part of the reason you may be getting stuck is having the FEL on the machine with no rear ballast. The extra weight of the FEL will change the weight distribution on the tractor enough to cause rear wheel slippage.

I suggest getting a 4wd tractor. I have a JD X585 and can say in 2wd mode it goes just like my old Craftsman (read: stuck). In 2wd with the diff locked, it is slightly less likely to get stuck (snow is my main problem). However, in 4wd (even w/o the diff locked) it's unstoppable. It's really amazing. Don't even need weights/chains or anthing.

400 series, x400 series and x500 series John Deere have locking differentials. The 300 series and under don't.
If you're doing alot of loader work and you can financially swing it you may want to consider the 2210 or 2305 subcuts from deere or BX1830 or BX2230 from Kubota or something similar with 4 wheel drive.
Even with a locking differential my John Deere 430 garden tractor was doing all it could to pull a 4' box scraper.
Best use I found for the locking differential was to get unstuck after getting stuck with it unlocked because if I buried it when locked it took all my old full size pickup could do to get that 1300 lb tractor out of a hole and if buried with an implement on the 3 point still attached it was a right royal pain to get out.

Did you try adding some weight to the rear of the tractor ?
That might be all you need.
