gas in bx2230

My bride filled our bx2230 with gas by mistake (my fault as I put gas in the diesel can...i deserve a kick in the *****) I just siphoned the fuel and will change the filter next. Do I need to change the oil and oil filter too? Any other suggestions will be appreciated. AHHHHRRRGGG!!!

Some folks dilute their diesel with gasoline during the winter months to run better just as an example etc.

I would not worry about the crankcase oil and it should not be an issue unless you have bad rings or scored pistons.

change the filters and drain the gas from the tank and add the fresh diesel and some seafoam. It should be fine with no issues other than a little unburned gas fumes through the exhaust if it was started and then shut off.

Leonz always impresses...one smart dude. But those should be home baked chocolate chip cookies, hand-delivered, still warm from the oven...:licking: :drool: Molasses? Disappointing.

I did that to a buddies F350 last summer. Pump at the fueling station had a yellow handle and I didn't pay attention....till the engine started sputtering, then I looked at the receipt!!!

We just drained fuel, changed the filter and the truck didn't miss a beat. I'm not saying the two engines are identical, but other than that swift kick you really do deserve to give yourself, you and the tractor should come out unharmed.
