Gas Powered Tractors - Last Year Produced??

Hi All,

Just trying to remember what model and year the last gas powered MF was produced? Was it the 135, or did it go into the 200 series?

All colours are welcome here, not just MF.

This is what I've found. Massey manufactured gasoline engined tractors through 1980, with the 230 being the only gas powered tractor that year. Ford manufactured gasoline engined tractors in the 2610 and 3610 series through 1982 or 1983, depending on sources. John Deere built gas powered machines through 1973.

The gassers are pretty much gone by the early 1980's. I am assuming you are only interested in smaller hp gassers of year 1970 or newer possibilites:

Gas or Petrol MF 135 s were never sold in the UK, when the Perkins 3 cylinder became avaiable (A3 152) the spark ignition finished as they were too expensive to run as Petrol (Gas) was 4 times the price of diesel. So there were none after 1964.
Having said that MF imported 4 (?) Petrol MF 135's to use at major Horse Shows as they were quieter and thought less frightening to the horses.
