Gator dead?

I just tried to look at Gator Attachments website (no go) as well as their FB page (last entry Christmas 2010). Anyone know if they're toast?

Could have been doing maintenance. Works fine this morning. I find it's good to wait at least 24 hours before thinking a web site is down.

WR Long seemed to have some nice looking products - no prices that I could see. Are they only a wholesaler to dealerships or can I buy direct from them? Also, why is every fab place always 1500 miles from where I live? Dang.

I read in another post that they didn't have the money to buy teeth for toothbars. At least that's what the guy was told when he called to order a toothbar. It appears they are having cash flow problems. That doesn't mean they are toast, but it would be cause for concern, a red flag of sorts.

Lots of businesses are having hard times these days. I am a small business owner, and I survive but do not thrive like I used to. I woiuld like to invest in a new attachment or two but have to watch expenditures much more closely these days.

Looks like gator just slithered away or the gator girls got picked up for solicitation. I wonder what's happening with ........ in Canada who did or did not get his money refunded by Gator?

Too bad Allen and Melissa aren't ready to step back in and fill that space.

BTW - their link didn't work on either of our computers (Mac or PC), multiple browsers (Explorer, Mozilla .....) nor after clearing all caches.

Stella's voicemail is the correct one. I went through the same thing recently and received an email stating to call and leave a message for Stella. I did, and she returned my call. Doesn't seem like a good situation. Good luck.

I just tried the link, worked for me. The 336-870-1282 is what is listed on their web page. The other numbers you posted are listed on their PDF cataloge on the web page. It doesn't sound good if those numbers are disconnected. I tried the 888 number and I just get a long delay and then a busy signal??

Actually you all are correct, the Gator is officially dead. The company was bought by North American Implements, who will still manufacture the same quality that Gator Attachments did.
