I have been having an intermittent problem with the electric motor that powers the hydraulic cylinder. At first I could tap it with a hammer and it would function, but somehow I think there is a bigger problem with either water getting in or something else. I got it working and covered it with plastic, but when the temperature dropped the same problem occurred.
It sits outside and I know that doesn't help, and yes I know hitting it with a hammer doesn't reeally help either.
I thought of taking the power unit off and bringing it inside to thaw and dry out and then trying it to see if it works. That may work short term, but I shouldn't have to do that.
I should call the dealer and have it replaced while under warranty, but is there an easy fix to this I haven't thought about? Maybe the fuse?
If anyone else has the front blade and has had problems has an idea, please chip in.
