Got a 2006 HPX diesel a few weeks ago for general use around our place hills, trees, a few roads and trails; no serious 4 wheeling, mudding or jumping. Apparently, the gator was previously owned by a used car lot; it doesn稚 show any appreciable wear or damage. It came with Trailfinder VPR 26x10R14 front & 26x12R14 rear wheels under 14# of pressure. From what I致e seen on this board these tires shouldn稚 be a problem for the stock suspension. But, I致e got a problem with the front wheels rubbing on the inside fenders particularly under the front edge (where the headlights are mounted). The problem occurs especially when making sharp turns on flat ground or less sharp turns on an incline or decline. The gator doesn稚 have a front lift kit at the moment although think I値l have / need to install one the socket in the bottom of the steering knuckle trick sounds good to me. I知 here assuming something between 1 3/8 to 1 1/2 but would welcome your experience here. The gator has about 170 hours on it and I知 guessing the front shocks are either shot or I need to put on some hd ones in addition to the lift kit. Although it has a full windshield, we don稚 plan on getting an enclosure, blade or plow. At least a contributing factor is that we*e kind of let痴 just say, chunky the wife and I together are closing in on 500# - is this the whole problem? If so, other than getting on the next Biggest Loser, what is the best route to get around the problem? Your ideas as well as any assistance is appreciated. - GC
