gator in the parade

this is my o5 gator in the staging area for the parade by my house . it was used for the YOUNG MARINES my son is in them my oldest son graduated from them last year he would have been in it this year too but he got him a job /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif.anyway she pulled the load with no problem and she ran great the whole time.i think the total time she ran was about 51/2 hours total from start to finishand the trailer weight was around 2000k and more because in the pictures it was not fully loaded minus the people that rode on it too!so that junk in the specs about 1300 pounds /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif and a 900 pound bed weight /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gifi doubed it easy if not tripled it at times on the route. in fact i could hear some remakes comin from the crowd about the load that jd was pullin. in fact they was callin it a jd truck.anyway enjoy the picks.

Nice pics of the Gator. Attached is a pic of my Gator loaded with wood while pulling another load on a 6'x12' trailer. It was definitely beyond the rated capacity

I assume the tow rating on the Gator is the amount that it can handle safely under normal operating conditions. I know with the load I was working with the stopping distance was much further.

i hear ya on the load capacity. i notice you have the trail gator.so how does the clutch encloseure work? how deep of water have you put it in ?i want to put the kit on my gator too but i just havent found the cash yet.i want some new tire first then the ctutch kit. but as for as the load goes you look like you got a good load too! funny thing about the gator that i find is that it rides better with a load in it. i keep my box in the back (i took it out for the parade)but it weighs about 90 pounds. plus i got a 5 gallon bucket with chain in it that goes about 25 lb's i find it holds the back end down . plus it's stuff i need in the box /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

those things are cool . man they didn't have toys like that when i was a kidthe only thing we hand close to that was a big wheel and tie a rope to our red ryder wagon and pull it behind the big wheel /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
