Gator manual ?

Guys, looking for a owners manual for a 2004 Gator HPX 4x4, nothing I come across mentions year. Does that matter?

Any links as where to download or buy a hard copy?

The John Deere website is surprisingly helpful with manuals and parts. A little difficult to navigate, but you should be able to download it for free. Not sure if this link will work, but if you go to the main website there is a tab for Parts and Service, then choose Manuals and Training.
