Gator XUV 850/ Model HPX OPS

I was changing the oil and noticed the right rear axle shaft rubber boot had broken. Is this an easy repair.? It looks like you have to compress the spring and then remove the wheel hub to get the axle shaft free of the differential, where I assume there is a spline connection. There is grease inside the boot. Is that just a one time (factory) packing, as there are no grease fittings?
