So after the first few months and over 100hr I have noticed something that I would like to change. I think I want to bed liner the floor pan then reinstall everything. I can see little scratches appearing over time without prevention will cause rust.

So has anyone put any protection on the foot bed/ floor pan?

Yes I did it with a brush, be careful with all the bolt holes..

Mine came with a removable heavy rubber mat. Might be something to consider, maybe even a truck flap cut down to size and shape.

Mine has the factory rubber mat as well. I don't love it as grit and small stones get up underneath the mat.

Yes they fold up over time, everything gets under there..

Is the floor pan metal? Mine is scratching all to **** and the scratches are yellow under the red paint. I figured it was probably plastic.

Under the rubber mat is metal, the rear shroud under the seat area with the control levers through it is plastics. I have a crack in the plastics where the floor meets the rear shroud

Dang. Guess I'll have to check that out. I've heard creaking and cracking on mine, too. Random loud pops when getting on and off. Wonder if it's cracked.

I went out and looked. Definitely going to have to address this. I can see where debris on my boots have scuffed through the top coat and I'm down to the primer in a few places-maybe even bare metal. Thanks for the heads-up on this! I barely have 100h in and want this thing to last.

I'm down to bare metal in a couple of places on my floor... not particularly attractive, but hey -- it stays shiny! I think if the tractor gets used much at all that can't be avoided. (Now have 860 hrs)

Biggest no-no I've encountered was driving the thing over the road for a couple of miles to help a neighbor clean up snow. Going over the slushy, salt-laden pavement is definitely something to avoid, but wear on the floor from dirt doesn't seem to cause rust on mine.

My BH control panel, however, was a different story-- got so rusty on the edges I pulled it, had it bead-blasted and powder-coated. It was ugly! A new set of warning stickers and it looks good again.
