Will a Massey Ferguson 1705 handle a 3 pt. 9 blade disk with 16 inch disks?

Thank you

Don’t see why not, you have a picture of your disk?

i think it will be close. You would need to know the weight and the length of the implement from the pins on back. 1705 is rated for 1190 pounds at the pins. you can do some rough math.... divide 1190 by half the implement length. For example, if the implement is 5 feet long from the pins, then 1190/2.5= 476 pounds. if ur implement is equal or less than that weight it should work. I have a tarter ATV tow disc with eight 16" blades, it weighs 430. i was thinking of adapting it to three point and in theory, based on weight and length, it should work, but it will be close. At some point I will probably mock it up somehow to test that idea.

My comments were simply for lifting the attachment. As for effectively being able to pull it...unsure.

I think it will handle it , you will want to weigh down the tractor for maximum traction as you will lose traction way before you will run out of power. Also if you are loading the engine and transmission at lower speed (mph) you may run hot. 476 pds no problem on the lift... I have a 650 lb 60 inch snowblower five feet or more out-no problem on the lift for my GC2410.
