I have a couple of questions about the 3-point hitch on my tractor. It is new to me and I wanted to use a box blade on it but found that I was missing the the two lower links. I picked them up at the dealer today and looked at how they were installed on a GC2600 that was on the lot. My question is should both links have a slight bend in them. The ones I got from the dealer were different than those on the 2600. The leveling link has a slight bend on the lower screw but none on the upper. The solid link is absolutely straight. All of the ones on the 2600 were slightly bent. Could any one who has a 2310 let me know what they should look like.
My second question is on the operation of the 3 point hitch. I was told by the previous owner that he had never used the three point hitch so I am assuming that it has not been used since 2008 when purchased. The hitch went down when I lowered the lever but it will not raise up at all. I have fully opened the speed control but it does not seem to do anything. The hitch moves freely by hand. I thought perhaps that the hydraulic fluid may be low but it is about 3/4 of the viewing glass. Any suggestions on things I can try before I take it to the dealer.
Thanks in advance
