New member here. I recently purchased a 2006 GC 2310 for a good price however the steering is very stiff and it does not appear the power hydraulic system is working. I have done lots of research and am a mechanically inclined guy but I am new to hydraulics. My questions may be a bit more simple so really hoping you guys can help shed some light on a few things for me.

The tractor also had a hard start condition and after some basic troubleshooting I figured it was a bad ground somewhere. I did some searching and found a few threads on this site which pointed me to the ground cable up front. The cable was very frayed so I replaced it and success! The starter rolls over much faster now and the tractor starts within 2 seconds every time. Wonderful feeling!
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Steering wheel controller is going to cost around $850. Better hope we never need one.

Some things I have noted so far:
- Steering physically works but is hard to turn
- The steering wheel is sloppy, no doubt from it being used as a handle to mount the tractor
- There is evidence of a leak when viewed from the battery side underneath. I can not see exactly where it is/was leaking
- I understand there is a seal kit you can order to rebuild the orbitrol/column
- There are 4 lines attached to the orbitrol
- I believe the power steering has been broken for a long time
Some questions I have:
- Is there a place to add steering fluid?
- How do you test the orbitrol?
- Is there a place to reference a parts schematic for this machine?
- Anything else I should be aware of before tearing into this?
