I embarrassed saying this but I am having a problem starting my tractor after I rolled it on it's side. There was no damage to the tractor as it was like a slow motion roll.

After I righted the tractor, I removed the glow plugs and removed the oil from the third cylinder and bled the air from the fuel system but when I try to start it I get no kick at all.

I have fuel at the injectors and everything looks good but it's almost like the timing is wrong. I have had no luck finding a service manual, not that it would help because I don't have any idea how to adjust the timing if that is the problem.

Anyone have any suggestions.:

Yes once I got the oil out of the cylinder the engine does turnover. There is also fuel at the injectors, but it is not firing.

Are you getting any puffs of smoke as it's cranking ? or does it just feel like it's getting no fuel?

I would not say there are any puffs of smoke but I can smell diesel.

I would advise against messing with the timing. Mostly because you need to remove the engine to time it properly, but also because it didn't get out of adjustment.

Did the engine run while it was tipped or tipping? If so what color was the smoke? was it running on the engine oil? the injectors may need to be cleaned to open properly.

If you aren't experienced, save yourself money in the long run and pay someone to repair it. You can do more harm than good if you're not careful.

Thanks, for the suggestions. The dirty injector is probably right as it did run while tilted. I was hopping it may be something simple, but better left to someone who knows what they are doing.

You could spray some WD-40 into the air intake, and see if it runs.

If it does, it will confirm that it is a fuel issue.

It is possible to have fuel flow, but still not have the correct fuel pressure.
