Of the four attachments/implements I own, the blower is by far the easiest to attach & remove.
With FEL off, I dolly the quick-attach assembly over to the tractor (after grille guard is removed), lift it up and "hang" it on the front frame cross-member, tighten up the large T-handled bolt, then attach the two hydraulic hoses. Last thing to do is add the mid-PTO driveshaft. It goes from the front of the HST to the rear of the quick-attach. This operation takes me about 8 minutes, and I'm pretty slow (careful). It takes longer to remove the grille guard than to put the quick-attach on.
Putting the blower on & off is very easy. You saw the dolly; the front edge of the blower rests a 2x4, to get the right angle. I just slide it up to & onto the shoe, ensuring that the driveshaft stub on the front engages the blower's shaft as I do this. When it's shoved on all the way, pull up on the locking pin lever (on the shoe), secure with a lynch pin, then hook up the flat-four electric connection --that I added-- for the chute. Done.
Since the quick-attach assembly can be left on for FEL use (though it hangs low-- be careful!), removing the blower is only a matter of easing it down onto the dolly/2x4, releasing lynch pin & locking lever, and sliding off, after electric is disconnected. Takes maybe 2 minutes- really! If I'm going to use the FEL, of course, the two blower hydraulic lines are disconnected and tied up out of the way (velcro strap).
Putting the FEL on is another matter, for me at least. I just need more practice!
