yeah i want to get either a gc2300 or gc2600 to use for fixing up the landscape around. maybe a pluger 3pt from everythingattachments. What size tires are on the front/rear.I noticed it can be had with ag tires but the stock ones look like they wear out fast

Here's some more shots of a Northeastern 2310.... notice how much better it looks with turf tires!

Seriously, I've had great luck with the turfs, but if you spend much time in the woods the AG tires would probably be a better choice.

For pictures and specs, try the MF website, www.masseyferguson.com. The R4 Industrial tires are the recommended all-around tire. Not sure about longevity, but mine seem to be holding up well at a construction site with a lot of sharp rocks.

There are probably as many threads about tires as there are about oil.

I had turf tires on my JD many years ago and they served me well. I now have R4s on my 2310 and for the most part like them, too. Last tractor I had with Ag tires was a ~ 1953 International Super C (?) - and that thing was a brute.

Whatever tires you get, be sure to change the air a couple times a year because that's the secret to getting top performance. :p

Change air every season, right?

Yeah, ya know, thin air for the winter, thicker air for the hot season....:D

The nice thing about the TLB is that I can use the hydraulics to lift the tires off the ground so that I get a *complete* air change. Just remove the valve stems and leave them alone for about 15 mins, which is enough time to let the tires balance with the ambient air. Then replace the valve stems and fill 'em up.

My tires are not filled, but I think this method would be OK with filled tires, too, as long as the valve stem was at 12:00.

:D
