Tractor
TYM T264 with loader and implements
I had a friend tell me the other day, " that is not a real tractor!" I am sure all whom own one would disagree, let's see a lawn mower do this! Slow and steady taking small bites. IMG_20160927_133809.jpegIMG_20160927_133756.jpegIMG_20160927_133746.jpeg

I must admit, this little tractor has greatly exceeded my expectations!

Part of me wants to show off just how capable the little tractor is but the realistic side of me knows it's probably best if friends and neighbors just keep on thinking it's just a lawn mower.

I am definitely not into showing off, but I use it for what I bought it for. I work within its limits.

I suppose I should have chosen my words better. I didn't actually mean "show off" as in riding wheelies or anything lol Just that when a friend makes a statement like the one your friend made, part of me wants to show him some pics like the ones you posted and say "see, it's not just a lawn mower." But, in my case, I get over it pretty quick because the only thing that really matters is it does what I need it to.

I understand and agree! He never gets on this forum. He hates computers, come to think of it.

My first seat time fifty three or so years ago was on my dad's Gibson tractor, it was powered by a 7 hp Wisconsin engine, somewhat smaller than a GC1700 but there was no doubt that it was a real if somewhat smaller tractor. That little tractor plowed the garden, graded the driveway, yarded logs, and built roads and trails on parents acerage on Chuckanut Mountain.
Small does not mean it is not very capable of doing a lot of stuff, I can only imagine what we could have with a GC back then!

I just bought a GC1705 a couple months ago got 38 hours on her but i can say that little over grown lawn mower has surprised me at what it can do just got done moving a 8' by 12 ' shed it took a little bit longer then with a bigger tractor but she got it done. As for mowing i do my mother in law 2 acre lot in 1/2 the time she can and hers has more hp but mine just rolls right on thru. I have tested the loader limit more than once but I have had no problems so far and would recommend one of these tractors to anybody who can't afford the green or orange paint.
