Got about 80 hours on my GC1710 after about 10 months of ownership. I have encountered two issues recently, the coolant temp gauge on the instrument cluster does not register anything and the neutral switch on the range selector. I have to move the handle about an inch or so toward hi range to get the tractor to start or not stall when I leave the seat. I am in contact with the dealer for help under warranty and will ship parts so I dont have to transport the tractor. They said that the neutral switch is adjustable but I fail to see how. The plastic "fork" piece has the metal stub in the proper place. Anyone else aware of how to do this?
As far as the temp gauge, I believe I have found the sender on the left side of the block about parallel with the oil filter. The connection looks good as well as the connection to the cluster. Any suggestions on testing where the problem might be there?

I'll be in contact with the dealer tomorrow and update this post on my progress.

Had a little time to spend my issues today. Confirmed that the neutral switch is not adjustable. Dealer suggested that the lever got bent somehow but I know that is not the case. Their solution to bend the metal stub to adjust the switch back does not sit well. Running the tractor today I was able to get the tractor to start while the level was in the Neutral position but needed to wiggle it a bit when I got out of the seat while running to keep the engine from turning off. This has to be a faulty switch. I guess I will have to demand a new switch.
I identified the temp sending unit, on top rear of the engine next to the upper radiator hose. I grounded the wire to see if the gauge moved at all but got nothing. Next step need to check the resistance of the sending unit. I found another thread on this forum from a year ago with helpful info.

Got some spare time to work on the tractor. I have confirmed that the temp sender unit seems ok. The resistance drops as the engine warms though I dont know the exact specs it should be. I dont seem to get a signal to the wiring under the temp gauge so I might have a break in the wiring. The neutral range switch for whatever reason seems to be working again almost every time. Since this is under warranty next stop will be to dealer to continue troubleshooting.

I did receive a new quick connect coupler for one of lines to the backhoe that was leaking. Swapped that out and not a drop was lost since.

Yeah.... I chased it all the way from sender to PC board behind dash....

I'm waiting for the dealer to decide if they're going to come and get mine, or disassemble and investigate at my house.
Hopefully, if it's a PC board, new one doesn't take long to get.
