OK- I'm certain this must have been asked before, but I couldn't readily locate the info I'm after via standard searches so...
On my GC 1720, the backhoe has three lines connecting it to the tractor.
I want to connect a 3pt splitter, using those hydraulic lines. I also want it to be able to lift and lower the 3pt while splitter is connected. The dealer claimed that the machines 3pt would not work while splitter was connected. So, here's my thoughts:
Could it be, that the third line is so the open center hydraulics of backhoe loop strait back to tank? I figured that way there was no danger of running your 3pt while hoe was connected? Could I just use the third line (to 3pt) from the splitter and have all the functionality?
I hope this question makes sense, and thank you for your input
