I have a GC2300 that i am wondering about the top link.... I have a scraper blade it has two holes for the top link, which do you use.

Whatever I am using on the 3pt hitch (blade, bush hog), I don't seem to get much ground clearence.

Also does any one have a 4 ft King Kutter bush hog? The one I purchased from TSC has a swivel piece that the top link attaches to. I bent my top link last year with this and believe the top swivel piece was installed backwards if anyone has a picture of the King Kutter top link I would love to see it and compare it to mine.

last question where can I get a new top link for my GC2300. The aftermarket one I purchased is very short.

Thanks
Dan

I assume you are talking about the box blade itself. I always use the top hole. It increases the leverage of the top link in relation to the blade. Also, my tractor has two holes which the mfgr recommends the top hole for ground engaging equipment and the bottom hole for mowers, shredders, etc. I've often wondered why there were two holes on the blades, and found that it does give another range of settings if you need to tilt a little more than your adjustable top link can go with just one.

Best Regards
