GC2300 60" MMM For Sale

Well I have decided to take my GC2300 out of the mowing business. I ordered a bagger from my dealer last week and realized I could get a dedicated lawn tractor with mulching mower in the same price range.

Since I remove the mower for all other activities (grading, tilling etc) I have found that after adding the filter guard the mower is more difficult to put on. I have a rough time getting my hands up in there.

So I have the 60" MMM (3 years old) and a set of turf tires (I only used them for mowing once). Since this is a recent decision, I haven't finalized my price yet but I am sure it will be a good deal. If anyone is interested it would prob. be best to send a private message.

I am glad that I wasn't the only one that had a difficult time putting the driveshaft back on with the filter guard in place. It is doable, I have only done it once, but hopefully gets easier with time.

They are gone. The dealer took the items as trade on a Simplicity with a 50" mulcher.

Yes it can be done (and I have done it) putting the pto shaft on. I guess I am just not good at pushing and pulling at the same time in a tight space.

Guess I need to go change my signature.

I tried to get them to design the filter guard so you remove it when you have the mower on for that reason. Especially since you don't need it then. I was thinking of a shield that hangs from the same points that the mower hangs from in the rear. They decided that it would get misplaced that way and went with non removable design. ARG!
