GC2300 Battery Question

Was wondering if I can use an automotive battery to replace the one in my GC2300...if the size fits. Finding it difficult to get the exact replacement.

The group 51 battery in my GC2400 is used in Honda autos. IIRC the 2300 and 2400 use the same batteries.

That's funny because when i got a replacement for my 1423, it was the same size an i needed a reverse polarity on the post. An that was just a western auto store. The battery was alot thinner then car battery.
