GC2300 Glow Plug Relay

Hello All,
My GC2300 isn't starting in the cold so I ordered a set of glow plugs which I figured were the problem.
They just came today, but before I installed them, I figured I would just check to see that there is
12V being presented to the plugs when I turn the key to the GLOW position.

Surprise....nothing at the glow plug!

I tried to trace the wires from the plugs and the key switch, and they disappear pretty quickly into harnesses....so I wonder if anyone might be able to tell me where the glow plug relay is located on the GC2300 so I can go give it a look? (test) Any descriptions would be great....a photo would be like awesome.....any help would be appreciated.

Also....when I turn the key to glow, I hear what I thought was the fuel pump "rattling"...is that a pump, or is that my glow relay having troubles?
(If so, maybe I can track it by sound)

My GC1720 (similar) when turn key the fuel pump 'rattles, I never hear the glow plug relay though.

I think the fuel pump rattles so you know its working?

The relay should be up behind the instrument panel. If nothing else just trace back the glow plug harness.

The glow plug relays are not failing. While it is of course possible yours has failed, I would check the ignition switch for corrosion, and or possibly a broken wire.

Those are reported issues.

FYI, I bought the three glow plugs on EBAY for around $40 for the set and they work perfectly and glow a lot more than my originals, but they are 9 yrs old. I think the seller was Hamiltonbobscubs or something to that affect.
