gc2300 heater hoses from where off the motor

I'am going to put a cab heater on my gc2300 and was wondering where and whats the best place to run the heater hoses from.Has anyone any ideas as to whats the best way to proceed with this.Do I need to drill and tap into the water pump or what.Thanks for any input as always Larry.

well I took a good look at that water pump and by the looks of it there's a place where it can be done.I drill out the pump and tapped it and put in a fitting for my cab heater feed and the return I did some changes to where the block drain is by putting in a different fitting and tee off to beable to have a return from the heater as well as to still utilize the drain system.So its done and works just fine. Now hopefully it'll be a bit warmer blowing snow this winter. Anyway thats what I did in order to get heat into my cab.Almost ready for winter. As always Larry

Sounds like a solution-- I don't have a cab, so I haven't gone through that. I know others have, but it sounds like you've got it figured out- great!

I just know I'll be thinking of you --and others-- when I'm out there eating snow this winter....

thanks for the replies,I'd like to post photo of my cab however where I'am located I'am on dial up and it takes forever to post pictures plus not sure how to do that in these threads. I'll try to give it a try my son gave me some advice and hopefully this will work with putting a picture or attachment of it here.used lexan for the all glass etc: have since put in a wiper and the heater since the picture was taken.the homemade quick hitch is also almost completed as well have to pick up the splined shaft and two snap on u-joints tommoro so hopefully it'll get done this weekend. as always Larry.
