GC2300 Loader Control Valve Replacement

Does anybody know of a replacement control valve for a 2003 GC2300 with loader? Mine has a crack in the control valve body and the dealer is telling me to replace it, it will cost $1,000.

I believe the the valves are Nimco and they are stacked and you could replace just the bad valve and not the complete controller. Make sure you have a crack and not just a bad O ring. The O rings are easy to replace and the ones that came with mine where junk and changed with a better rubber. If it is cracked you might look at this one

Unfortunately it is cracked and not just the O-rings. I have been trying to do some research on the Brand Hydraulics valve you suggested for the last couple of days and I think it will work. I just have not idea on Power Beyond.

I am hoping to get some verification from somebody who has made the switch.

It shows a power beyond kit in the upper right corner and in the instructions for it use. The drawings show mounting locations. Also I was wrong on the stacked blocks it looks like it is a mono block.

From what I can find it looks like you will have to drill new mounting holes on the mount plate and adapt from SAE 6 to SAE 8 on the new valve.

Hi Doug, Can you tell me where I can find the O-Rings (part numbers) and are there any step by step instruction for replacing them.

Mine has been leaking for quite some time and I really need to get it fixed. I dread the dealer repair cost on anything.

If you pull off the rubber boot, there are 4 cylindrical plungers that the joystick controls (they go in and out of the block as the joystick is moved. Fluid is leaking out around one of these plungers.

I got the O rings from my MF dealer (Blucks in West Lafayette Ohio ask for Becky) and was told by her the OEM white O rings are a waste of time replacing and they fell apart when removed, she sold me a different O rings. I do not know the part #. It took less then a hour to replace the O rings. Remove the front and back of the block and and keep every thing clean and it will fix the problem. Now I have to fix the steering leak, from what I have looked at it will be a lot more work. Winter project.

Anyone have a how-to replace the O-Rings for Dummies with pictures?

For example, I assume something has to be done first to relieve hydraulic pressure so fluid doesn't go squirting everywhere when I start removing screws...

Don't replace the O rings with the tractor running and you have to remove the Quick Releases to get the cover off. There is no pressure in the block at that point. It is a easy repair just keep thing clean.
