leveling do the following:
where the lift arms at the rear of the deck...unhook those, you'll have to then remove a clip I believe. You'll see the threaded adjustment where the lift arms attach. that'll get you side to side. there's also so adjustment threads on the front where the deck attaches to the the arms that connect the front.
do just a little at a time....once you get it right, it makes a perfect cut!
for the height....how far it goes down, there's an adjustment knob on the floor with a gauge on it....lift the deck, turn the knob, lower deck....do that until you find the height you want! then mark the gauge with a marker so when you need to keep the deck raised while doing other work you'll turn that knob to keep it raise...then all you have to do is turn the knob until the guauge lines up with the mark and your back to your setting.
I can cut my yard with it and you can't tell that I didn't use my Cub....I mainly only cut the lake lot, but if I'm in a hurry I'll cut the yard with it...60" vs 42"
