gc2300 one bottom plough

I built a one bottom plough for my 2300 last summer out of a old horse [ox] plough that I had bought at a yard sale for:thumbsup: $5. I had to make a shear as the original was missing.I made the shear out of a old brush mower blade that had broke.I made the 3 pth frame fully adjustable so I could adjust the plough to work the best.I couldn't seem to get it to work quite like I'd have liked it to,could be because of the ground being so hard and dry last fall.It was breaking off chunks of dirt up to 16" big and hard as rocks,so could be why I had problems.The Gc2300 had to be in 4x4 but it did pull it.This spring once the ground thaws I'll have to try it out again and see if it needs more adjusting or if its good to go.Can hardly wait for the weather to turn nice.Larry

There is no doubt a 2300 will pull a one bottom.

I can pull a one bottom with my 10 hp. Bolens.

I got to use it this spring and it works great.I have added a depth guage wheel which works way better then having to feather the 3pth. My Little guy and I sort of had a plough day this spring we went over the already tilled garden [just to have some fun] and they worked great.Of course being the little guys first time he wanted to do more,so I called my neighbour to see if we could go and do some ploughing in his field across the road from us.His answer was go to it do it all if you want,lol, We did go and plough a spot where out for a couple hrs and things worked excellent.Larry.:laughing:

I went this morning and was sooooo close to pulling the trigger on a GC2610 with a MMM, BB, and 4ft rotary cutter. I test drove this at the dealership and was :drool:-ing at the quietness of the engine and the sheer power and responsiveness of all the inputs I have put into it!! I left and went home to discuss with my wife in further detail all the pros vs. Kubotas BX!! I am in the process of doing so right now. Gotta go!!
