Does anyone have a picture of where the PTO safety switch is? I'm having to rock the PTO lever back and forth to get it to start. I have been told I could bypass the switch to get it started.
Thanks.

The only switch I see is on the neutral/engage (inner) lever. If you look under the left fender, you should be able to see the rocker switch with a roller on it. I'm not sure, but it may have some adjustment mechanism. (This is on my 2310.)

Thanks, I found it under the seat frame on the left side. A green and a yellow wire. I disconnected them and plugged them together. I was able to start the tractor and turn on the PTO while off the tractor. Now, if the switch fails before I get it is replaced I'll still be able to start it.

Mine just went out today and it was not the 10amp fuse. Did not have time to find which safety switch is failing, but if you pull the white plug from the starter relay, (open the engine bay, it's mounted on the same side as the key switch on the frame of the panel, easy to get at) and jumper a wire between the two large wires (Red and Red/Yellow), then turn the key to start you basically bypassed all safety switches that prevent the relay from engaging and are letting the key to provide power to the starter solenoid. My seat switch is already jumpered out. Until I can locate the darn switches, then figure out which one is bad, find the part number to replace, and wait for it to arrive, I'll keep the piece of wire wrapped around my throttle to use and the relay unplugged for easy access.

If anyone has the part number for these switches, please post them.

Yes, #9 is one of the switches. According to the schematics there are 2 safety and the seat. I'm thinking in that diagram #12 is labeled as a sensor might be the one for the neutral position. Larger MF tractors have this little solid metal button. I'll be tearing into it next weekend. Thanks for the help.
