GC2300 Started screeching today when lift hits top

For the first time today my 2300 hydraulics gave that awful hydraulic shriek when the lift hit the top of its travel. The tractor is new (about 1 month old) and I have never had this problem before today. Is this a problem? Does it signal an impending breakdown? Help! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Your machine has a 2 year warranty - if it is real problem, call your dealer.

There is a rod that needs to be adjusted on the right side of the seat under the sheet metal. Get your dealer to do it.

Forgot to say. You can go ahead and use the tractor without hurting anything if you just don't pull the lift handle all the way to the top.
