I removed the BH and installed a landscape rake. Now I mounted the MMM deck, and want to leave the rake on. I want to cut my weeds with mower deck down but the landscape rake up, then lift the mower deck and put the landscape rake down. I'm preparing for grass seed. When I use the hydraulic control, both MMM and rake drop. I adjusted the 3 pt hitch as high as it will go, but the rake still drops to the ground when I lower the MMM. I was hoping I could let the rake drop but have it tilted up enough so the tines don't touch the ground.

Is there any way to do both of things independently, or should I just take off the rake, use the mower deck, then reinstall the rake? I'm leaving the loader on. Thanks.

The short answer is no. You can lock the MMM up and use the 3PT. but you can not lock the 3PT up and use the MMM. The MMM lifts off of the 3PT. Time for a quick connect?

LOL! Yes, a quick connect would be nice. But I've already spent a whole lot more on implements than I ever imagined. But having the tools available whenever I want is fabulous!

How do I lock the MMM and still use the 3pt? I thought the rate of drop crank when placed to slowest drop locks the 3pt, not the MMM. Do I have it backwards?

The knob under your left leg that points up and has a scale on it adjusts the mower height. Adjusting it can hold the MMM up and the 3PT still works. The drop rate knob works for both to slow or speed up the drop at the same time. Also you can adjust the height of the MMM so the front non castering wheels are not on the ground so they do not scuff in the turns. You do turn off 4WD when you don't need it to save the tuff?

Got it now. The cutting height control has a 125mm setting. So set it to max, and when it drops as I drop the 3pt the MMM won't drop far.

Turf? Weed-turf? Mud-bowl weed garden? :) Just weeds and prairie grass so far. But thanks for the reminder. I've kept it in 4wd essentially as long as I've owned it, for so far I've used it to push snow, mow weeds, rake, and load gravel.

Thanks for all your help. I love this forum. Lots of great and helpful folks here.
