Thanks Archery! You have been very helpful with figuring this out. I finally attached the MMM Saturday night about 10pm. Fired it up and everything sounds fine. Hardly any noise at all. I think the noise is definitely attributed to the unloaded PTO (and my inexperience amplified it!) Thanks again for all your help. With my closest dealer an hour away and no other CUT's in my neighborhood this forum and its members is extremely helpful!

I have the opposite to what you have, it makes a grinding noise when I use the snowblower. I finally traced it down to a poorly adjusted clutch.
