Anyone know what the seat bolt pattern on a GC2310 is? Or an aftermarket replacement seat model?

Not sure if this is what you need, but the seat's on a hinge; the bolts that secure the flat hinge plate are 8" OC left-to-right, 1-1/4" apart. If you need other measurements, holler.

I am looking for this too. I am buying a GC1710 but LOVE the new GC1720 seat. Called Massey.... $1200.00 for the seat!

There has to be after market seats out there.....

I've ordered a seat from Ebay, supposed to fit. Cost about $180 shipped. The one from tractor supply is cheaper, but doesn't have the brackets...this one is supposed to be a direct fit. Will update.

Yes I saw that one/ Choice of black or grey AND you can order arm rests as well.... beats $1200.00 from Massey

Curious; I just looked at the ebay seat-- looks like they intend to replace it at the hinge pin, but it appears quite a bit different than mine. As my tractor's a late-version 2310, perhaps my seat is different. Price is good, though!

I ordered one of the replacement seats from EBAY $139.00 shipped and has the single pin mount plate already on it. My observations are that it sits about two inches higher than my stock seat, not a deal killer for me. Number two is the safety switch. It looks like its supposed to mount in the bottom of the seat, I havent look at the 1700 series so I dont know how they mount. Also mine does NOT have the backhoe so that may be the difference. I just had to raise my switch up about 1/2 an inch, again no big deal. Other than those two things, I like the seat way more than the old one. Its more comfortable, it looks to be more durable and hopefully it will be more weather proof. And the best thing is that now that I have the plate it would seem that getting a replacement now would be as simple as getting a universal seat. My tractor is a 2008 with about 400 hrs and the seat was replaced one time under warranty. Hope this helps with your decision.
