gc2310 seat tearing

I have about 52 hours on mine and i notice that the seat is tearing at both sides were the metal brackets are bolted to seat on the sides. You can feel the metal inside the seat. Is this normal, or is it that there is not enough padding in there?

I don't have a 2310, but I can say I don't recall anyone posting anything about seat tearing new or old... So I guess with that said, I would have to say it is not normal.

23 hours on mine in the last three weeks, what fun!!! Haven't even noticed a butt imprint in the seat yet. Will have to keep you posted though. Hopefully if the weather holds out I will be able to catch up.

I have a 2006 GC2300, just turned 120 hrs. My seat is doing the same thing, I have not contacted the dealer yet to see if it is covered or not but if the frame has not been changed the new seat will do the same.

I talked to the dealer and they talk to Massey. They are going to replace the seat, but feels that it going to happen again, because of the way the seat is made.
