I've got about 30 hours on my 2310 and have already put some serious wear on the machine. While tilling and mowing (with the BH off, of course), I unwittingly caught the BH hydraulic hoses in the 3PH. They got pinched and pulled until one cracked and I watered my lawn with fluid until the tractor stopped going. Ugh.
I replaced the cracked hose and the fluid - cost me $100. My transmission seems to still work OK after another ten hours of bush hogging, etc, but who knows what kind of wear I put on it.
Anyway, what I'm really writing about is to ask where folks stow their hoses? After "the incident", I spent a lot of time experimenting with different ways to tie up the hoses to get them out of the way, but no matter where I put them, they can get caught or pinched in the hitch linkage. My solution is to pull them forward, wrap with a zip tie, and pull them up beside the seat. (I'm talking about the blue/yellow hydraulic loop and the capped sump hose.)
I checked the manual and there's no discussion about this. Seems like a design flaw to me.
