GC2310 Warranty Work

Hi,

Taking my 2006 unit in for warranty work for some minor leaks and in my opinion excessive hoe pin slop. Are they any updates I should get them to perform or anything else anyone can think of ? After the warranty is toast, the bills can get expensive, so I want to them to perform anything can now instead of on my tab later. Hopefully there is a seat update as I think the design is terrible and find that when it is in the normal forward position is not very solid from left to right.... I believe they have a 2 year warranty ( although I was told 3, but pretty sure it is 2 ) , so I though I would get it in before next years work (play) season begins.

Take off the left side plastic engine panel and check the lower rad hose for any signs of rubbing from the throttle cable and linkage.

I can't help on what to check on (but maybe something about a guard for your filter?), but about warranty time... Models from this year started a 3 year warranty, I don't think that is for older models (boy would that be nice to get that extra year, mine was up in September)... BUT if your dealer thinks yours is in the 3 year then don't say anything

I have an older 2310 and they told me (after a year), the FEL and HOE only were 1 year warranty, and the tractor was 2 years. I was disappointed because I was under the impression it was 2 years for everything. I Don't know what the current offer is but, don't be surprised if they tell you the warranty is less for the attachments.
1. Check both radiator hoses: A. for the hole from the throttle cable, and B. for excessive rubbing along their routing.
2. On some units the hydraulic hoses are not run along the inside of the right rear tire properly resulting in wear from tire rub.
3. check the seat for tears.
These are commonly covered by warranty.

Mine is a mid 2006 model, sure would be nice if it was a 3 year warranty. How would I find out ? My dealer I bought it from are knobs, so maybe phone Massey ??
