Ok, my GC2310 won't start. Was working great for the last three days during the blizzard. Yesterday it started normally, I warmed it up, moved away from the garage about 10 feet, turned it off and now it won't start. Battery is fully charged, I removed the seat safety switch and held it closed manually, made sure out of gear. 12.53 volts to starter solenoid. When I try to start the fuel pump is clicking, no sound from starter solenoid. Checked safety switch on shift lever. Help, I really need the tractor, bad heart, bad back and feeling older then something above 66. Tractor only has 168 hours on it. Bought it used so no warranty Can someone give this old man some advice. Can't load on trailer, trailer buried in snow at end of long driveway. Nearest dealer 37 miles.

If its doing nothing when key is turned, I would assume that it is a safety interlock of some kind. Have you checked to make sure that you did not accidentally engage the PTO. I have done that on mine before.

You haven’t enjoyed the no start on a tractor until the neighbors 12 year old walks up and asks “What are you doing”? You respond trying to start the tractor. He stands and watches for a few minutes and then says, “I thought this lever had to be here before it would start”. DUH
