Hey JayBrad, I read in another post, you have a chipper?
Care to share some info? Model? how good it works?
Happy to - it is a WW Grinder Super Apache. As I understand it the company has been out of business for many years, but the parts are pretty universal. It was one of those things that was literally found in the corner of a barn when a long time tractor dealership changed hands (a fellow TBNer gave me the tip on its location).
I had to adjust the 3PH mount since it was set up for a taller tractor than mine, but with that done I have to say that it works great. It's a pretty basic chipper/shredder that easily handles up to ~ 3" pieces, and unless it's pine, I'll burn that size and larger in my wood stove.
The belts were all original and had to be replaced last year, which was a challenge. Fortunately one of my neighbors has lots of HVAC experience, since the way the bushings went on would have been a real head scratcher had it not been for him.
