GC2410TLB 3 point linkage kit

Okay, now I'm posting this in the right forum ( sorry Mahindra folks ).

I have a GC2410TLB that I bought new in 2011. The dealer was asking a pretty heafty price tag for the 3 point linkage kit at the time and I opted not to get it as I didn't have any rear implements anyways.

Well.. a few years later and I'm now kicking myself. I'm trying to find the correct part number for this linkage kit and I have contacted several dealers. So far, no one has it in stock and the price varies all the way from $300 up to $1000 for this kit. The part number I was given is 72530244 for a field installed option, but the description is "With 3 Point Linkage Installed" which sounds kinda odd.

Can anyone else out there verify if this is the correct kit part number? I'd hate to have one shipped in to find out its the wrong part all together. And with the different price's I'm getting, either some dealers are taking me for a ride, or not everyone is on the same page with the the part that I need.

Uh...it should've been on the tractor when you purchased it. Tucks in between the BH and tractor and does not need to be removed. I believe the dealer purchased from would have some explaining to do.

It comes with the 2410, 2400, 2600, 2610 tractors. I would call AGCO on this one.

It was an added option on the early 2410 and 2610's. They have since smartened up and made it standard and an option to have it left off if you would choose.

I think the kit through parts was much more than through wholegoods. That's probably where the pricing difference is coming from.

The option number through Massey's model builder is 72530393M. Maybe different for the newer 1700's.

Thanks everyone for the response. I think I might have it all figured out now.

I found a PDF online showing the 72530393M part number mentioned by MFRED as being for the GC1710. I'm feeling more confident that I got the correct part number ordered for my unit ( the 72530244 ). The dealer I bought it through said I should have it at the end of the week, so I guess I'll know then.

When I originally bought the tractor, I was told the linkage kit was going to be around $900 extra, so that's why I opted not to get it. I just couldn't justify that kind of cost on something like a linkage kit. Now that I'm seeing the pricing is around $350 sprinkled with a bit of shipping, that makes more sense. Although, given the hassle, next time I buy a tractor I'm going to get it will all the bells and whistles available and find uses for them afterwards.

I realize this was long ago and far away, but I agree that the linkage kit should have been part of the deal. I just bought a used 2009 2410 and the 3-pt is all in place, tucked up behind the backhoe. One of many reasons I chose MF over the others.
