gear box oil for Kubota 60" mower

Hello - The mower manual for my mid-mount 60" deck specifies use of SAE 90 API GL5 gear oil for the mower gear box. At Canadian Tire the only gear box oil was MotoMaster Formula 1 Premium Marine Gear Oil. It does have the SAE 90 API GL5 designation. Is it fine for me to use this in my mower gear box? comments? suggestions? thanks.

I would think that is exactly what you need. The "marine" application means little, the viscosity and engineering seal mean everything.
