gear boxon a John Deere 666 3 point snowblower

Hi what to run in the gearbox, I just purchased the blower ,I want to grease it and change the oil in the gear box and lube the auger chain before I use it. this summer I will paint it, any info would be great thanks Mark

I would think 80W90 gear lube will work just fine.
A synthetic 75W90 could also be used if you wish.

My vote would be for some Mobile 1 gear oil. You are going to be using it when it is cold so get some stuff that will flow..
