GEARS ON CASE INTERNATIONAL TRACTOR - HELP PLEASE

Hi everyone,

Just looking to buy a case international 1255xl, Think its 87/88
I do not know much about these big tractors but I am told they are about 110hp plus turbo which makes them 125hp.

Anyway I notice that this one has 2 gearsticks to my right, one has hi/low and reverse the other is showing 6 gears on the gearstick knob, i seem to be able to get 1,2,3 4 okay, but when i try to push up for 5 and down for 6 I am hitting solid like no gears is there at all.
They say these gearboxes give no trouble and are very strong

Anyone familiar with these type of tractors who could maybe advise here

Does the shifter not move over into that area? If you ask me, it sounds like a bent shift fork possibly........but I' can't say for sure just from that.

ok so there is definitely meant to be 6 gears then, it will move over ok to that position but not go into 5 or 6,

I'm not 100% for sure......but I thought so. Checked with the Loa l dealer on that?
