General Maintenance Schedule Jinma 204/254

For those interested in something better than what I had for a quick reference I've worked up an Excel sheet and a .pdf file containing a Maintenance Schedule for the 204/254 class tractors.

Much of what is suggested here is from my NorTrac manual. My intention is not to disclose any copyrighted information, but to clean up and organize pre-existing information. As with anything... nothing is set in stone and open to discussion.

Without looking at your schedual,I think I can give this advice,,you can go a little longer than it says to torque head bolts and adjust valves,did mine at about 150 hrs or so[forget],but they were very close and head bolts didn't budge,,I would say now, that at about 300 hrs would be a good time,unless you noticed something. I think the book says after 100 hrs. And I would change/clean/check that hydro screen as soon as possible,mine and others have had holes in the wire mesh,,that would be a good time to drain hydro oil and put new aw32 in it. And,,,don't put to much grease in those two fittings back on rear axil housing,,might bust a seal,,,but it will take a lot before that happens,reason I know this,is when I first greased mine,pumping grease till it ozzed out of every where else,came to those two back ones,and without thinking[as usual],started pumping,hell,I probably got over 1/2 a tube in each side,,finally figured it out,no leaks so far. thingy
