Now sadly senility starts at 52, so, not a big window where you don't have to be careful:)

I'm 54, soon to be 55. I do believe it kicked in during the past year or so. I used to do things that may have put me at risk. However, I do find myself slowing down and thinking the whole thing through with the application of proper PPE, bracing etc.

I've actually been better than that and regularly use eye, ear and other PPE. But I guess as I get older, I find myself stepping in when I see others that might be putting themselves at risk. I've also gotten better at doing this is a constructive way. I think that's important for all of us, as we get older.

Holy crap! I'm starting to sound like an old dude!
