Generators again: Honda vs Northstar vs PTO vs?

Multi-fuel just provides more options.

I was given a Champion because it stopped working... just put it in the corner.

My guess is I will find the carb corroded like I found my brother's Honda Mower and Generator last Sunday... 22 months in storage and lots of internal corrosion in both.

Friends had a Diesel North Star. The engine, despite running at 3600, was a Yanmar so I have some respect. The genend was just a piece of junk that failed quickly. Possibly because it was installed in a dog house, that had ventilaton, but maybe not enough.

However, customer support was incredibly good and the replacement was CHEAP. It was actually cheaper to replace the whole genend, then just the rotor or stator (don't remember which was bad.
