I installed a geo system in my own residence last fall. I documented with pictures.

Let me know if there is interest in what went into the project and I will lay out the story.

If not much interest I will skip it as it looks like a lot of writing to give the blow by blow description.

Let me know if there is interest.

I am in the process of planning my home and looking into all prospects of heating and cooling. Solar, wood radiant, geothermal....etc. I would definitely be interested in hearing on you experience with the geothermal!!!

I am in a similar position, have an electric furnace temporarily, looking very hard at an open loop system, would enjoy more details on what you did and the thoughts that went into it.

I would very much enjoy seeing your documented install and I believe the vast majority here would..

Me too techman,
We'd love to see you documentation for those of us who are planning similar heating/cooling ideas. In any case, this is the perfect forem to share what you've done for all to see.

I'm in a similar situation as Waynokid and Moeh, so bring it on!

I'll add my voice. Absolutely!!! Please write it up. With the way fossil fuel prices are going, I think there is a lot of interest in Geothermal.

A few are interested so I started the thread: Geothermal Heat Pump Project

I fear it will be as long a projcet to write about as it was to do.

Paul,
thanks for the multi-chapter run-thru on what it takes to get the closed loop option installed. I have been considering both that and an open loop ( going to depend on water quality),and got some input from you on another forum as well. The detailed story really helps understand what is involved. Nicely done /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
