Getting logged off.

The last week or so, every once in a while I'll be looking at a post then, when I switch to another post, or I click on "Main Index" I'll be logged off TBN. This never happened before. It appears to be random. It's really starting to bug me. Has anyone else noticed this, or is it just the admins trying to tell me something?

There is nothing that we've changed, so I don't think that it would be on our end.

Have you installed anything of late? Specifically: Popup blockers, ad blockers, ad removers, etc etc. Stuff that would kill Cookies?

We use Cookies to track sessions and keep you logged in. But I'm not sure why it would be logging you out between posts, even if it was removing cookies every so often.

You might want to try a different browser, or try reinstalling whichever browser you're using to see if that fixes anything.

Thanks Ibrahim, I haven't changed anything in months, so I really can't imagine why it started happening. I did the usual stuff, ran AGV anti-virus, ran ad-aware and all that. Oddly, I think it was coincedent with the new Deere adds, but I'm not sure (maybe I'm grasping at straws), and in any case, I can't imagine how the two could be related. I'll just put up with it until I can find something to corelate it to. It's the randomness I find so strange.

I'm not sure if this could be related in any way, but when I came into this forum I noticed a number of threads had unread posts in them. I guess I don't get here often enough...

Anyway, after reading this thread and clicking on "index" to go back to the list of threads, all the threads appeared as read, and there were no longer the blue (x) numbers showing threads having unread posts in them... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

To repeat, I did nothing except click on this thread and then click on index, and all threads became read.

Not complaining, just reporting... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Oh, one other thing. I went back to the main index and was still logged on...
